Pathways is an integrated and family centered formation suite designed to facilitate a personal encounter with the Trinity and sustain a lifelong development of faith within the family. Below you will find resources that can be used by individual families.
Root for Parents is a foundational catechetical experience designed to meet the fast paced lives of parents. Through short reflections, parents will get to know the Trinity and the essential teachings of our faith contained in the Creed. They will deepen their understanding of what we believe and be empowered to share faith with their families. Parents will grow in faith and confidence to teach, with Root.
Root for Children is a foundational catechetical experience designed for elementary and junior high school aged children. Led by their parents, children will get to know the Trinity and the essential teachings of our faith contained in the Creed. They will deepen their understanding of what we believe through hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Families grow in faith and love of God, with Root.
Claim is a Baptism experience for parents of infants or young children. Parents are invited to reflect on the gift and responsibility of raising a child in the faith and be equipped to actively participate in the liturgical celebration. Parents will be inspired to live out their faith through hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Parents will dive deeper into the incredible gift God gives us of Baptism, with Claim.
Mend is a first Reconciliation experience for the entire family. Parents are invited to reflect on their experience of Reconciliation and be equipped to teach, share faith, and pray with their children. Families will encounter Jesus and experience the beauty of Reconciliation through hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Families will dive deeper into the incredible gift God gives us of Reconciliation, with Mend.
Nourish is a first Communion experience for the entire family. Parents are equipped to teach, share faith, and pray with their children as they discover how the Mass relates to daily life. Families will encounter Jesus and experience the beauty of the Eucharist through a variety of hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Families will dive deeper into the incredible gift God gives us of the Eucharist, with Nourish.
Zeal for Children is a Confirmation experience designed for elementary and junior high school aged children. Led by their parents, children will grow in relationship with the Holy Spirit and a life of discipleship, through a variety of hands-on activities and meaningful conversations. Families will dive deeper into the incredible gift God gives us of Confirmation, with Zeal.
Mercy is an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will encounter the face of Jesus in others as they learn about the corporal and spiritual works of mercy. Families will reflect on how to live out the command of Jesus: "love one another as I love you". Families will grow closer as they serve others together, with Mercy.
Witness is an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will encounter the lives of the Saints and discover the gifts of the Holy Spirit alive in them. Families will embrace their call to be saints as they cook simple recipes and have meaningful conversations. Families will grow in holiness, with Witness.
Wonder is an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will encounter the power of storytelling in the parables of Jesus through engaging imaginations, hands-on activities, and meaningful conversations. Families will be helped to draw out the moral of each story and apply it to their daily lives. The transforming stories of our faith will come alive in the homes of families, with Wonder.
Quest is an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will grow in their relationship with God as they go on an adventure of prayer through modeling, practice, and meaningful conversations. They will apply what they learn by playing a board game together. Families will be taken deeper on an adventure of prayer, with Quest.
By Heart is an ongoing formation experience for the entire family. Families will grow in their relationship with God as they commit prayers to memory through practice. They will not only learn their prayers, but also about where they came from and why we pray them. Families will grow in our language of prayer, with By Heart.
